The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the novice continues to be one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the usual face-off, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really happening.
